Life in Paris

One of my favorite things about living in Paris is people watching. I love just sitting on a bench and observing people's interactions with each other and the surrounding environment. Today my friend Oona and I had to go to a park to draw it for our architecture class. Lots of Parisians took advantage of the beautiful weather and were enjoying picnic lunches in the park today while we were drawing. The park itself was quite lovely as well. Hopefully my professor likes my drawing! Another benefit of living in Paris is having lectures outside of the typical classroom. My art history class met at the Louvre on Wednesday (and we got our student passes too!!), my architecture class met in a museum on Thursday and the class trip to Versailles was held in the gardens. I mean at UCLA it was exciting if we sat at Northern Lights for a discussion but here excitement is being where the King of France once lived!!
