The Rain

I've never been a big fan of the rain - well until I came to Paris. The weather here is very unpredictable, but that could just be because I don't have internet all the time and cannot regularly check the weather (and you all know how obsessive I was about that at home!). So one day I may wake up to a beautifully sunny sky but by the time I'm on my way home it's freezing out. Today I thought it would be a nice day so imagine my surprise when I walked out of the metro to find it sprinkling. But I've begun to embrace the rain. I had to run a few errands this afternoon and on my way home stopped at the G20 (a small grocery store) to pick up some tea. I can't imagine a better way to spend my afternoon than sipping my yummy tea with a warm blanket, studying for my French quiz and looking out the window listening to the rain drops.
